Debbi Parker has been creating beautiful things her entire life — and she has no plans to stop.
She gardens. She crafts. She paints. She decorates. She scrapbooks. She collects. If it involves making something beautiful with her hands, Debbi has probably tried it — and mastered it.
Thirty-five years ago, that creative spirit built a business. From the Heart started as a family craft company, with Debbi making handmade papier-mâché Santas and pine cone ornaments in her home. What began with a few pieces grew into nearly 100 unique handcrafted items — angels, bunnies, witches, scarecrows, snowmen, fence board figures for every season.
It was a true family affair. Her son Brad and his father traveled to wholesale markets in Dallas, Pennsylvania, and Atlanta. Her other children, Grant and Katie, helped make the crafts at home. Brad became the main pine cone painter. A network of local moms helped with production. For ten years, From the Heart provided for the Parker family while spreading handmade joy to homes across the country.
Now retired in Acworth, Georgia, Debbi has poured 30 years of that same creative energy into something new: her garden. Three acres of flowers, vintage finds from decades of treasure hunting, and one-of-a-kind decorations she's collected and created herself.
You could spend a million dollars trying to recreate it. You couldn't. Because it wasn't built — it was grown, one flower at a time, over three decades.
From the Heart Pics is the next chapter. Same heart, new canvas. Families now come to experience Debbi's extraordinary garden and leave with photographs that capture their love in a setting that exists nowhere else on earth.
